DEMET
HER STORY
Hi! My name is Demet Yildiz. I am an artist and the founder of Dkrypted. According to my father, my journey into art began when I was just five years old, during a school trip to an art museum. I was so young, just a small child, yet something about that visit sparked a passion that has stayed with me ever since.
My inspiration comes from everything I see happening in the world. Growing up, I was surrounded by people who constantly judged me. I often wondered, why do people feel the need to judge others? This question became central to my perspective on life and art. To me, everyone should be free to live as they choose, without the burden of others' opinions. One of my core messages is simple yet powerful: Stop judging. Focus on yourself.

Art, for me, is a way of expressing myself, a channel that takes on various forms. Sometimes it becomes a voice of empowerment, other times it’s a call to awaken or plant a seed of thought in someone's mind. I strive for my art to ignite change—change that reflects the world I wish to see. Each piece I create embodies the belief that everyone should feel free to be who they are, fostering unity, respect, and above all, love.

I often find it amusing that the people who judge me harshly are often those burdened with the most self-criticism. It’s a cycle of judgment that affects both oneself and others. My work is not just about personal expression; it’s also about encouraging people to let go—let go of the harsh judgments towards themselves and towards others. It’s about honoring each other's worth.
Ultimately, my goal is to contribute to making the world a better place, one filled with more love and compassion for both ourselves and each other. Art has always been my safe haven, a place where this vision begins to take shape.
